The
Mission Inn's Las Colinas is located adjacent to the
vast Harris Chain of Lakes. Totaling over 76,000
acres, these lakes are among the largest in Florida and
are navigable all the way to the Ocean via the St.
John's River near Jacksonville. With two yacht clubs in
the area as well as the Mission Inn Marina which can
dock boats as large as 60', cruising and sailing is a
popular local pastime. Enjoy a cruise or sail along scenic
shores of Lake Harris and experience Florida at it's
best. Boat rentals also available, as well as
electric hook-ups and a full-time staff.
Lake
County is also known for it's great fishing. In
January, the Harris Chain hosts the ESPN
nationally televised Bassmaster Citgo Professional Bass
Tournament. Nearly 3,000 pounds of large
mouthed bass are caught and released in the four days
of the tournament with the big bass weighing in excess
of 10 pounds.

challenges with dramatic 85' elevation variances and
water everywhere.

Bicycles - Rental bicycles are available for
children and adults to tour the resort and town at a
leisurely pace.
Children's Playground - Located poolside near the
shuffleboard court, hydro-spa and La Chiquita Cabana.
Pasatiempo Recreation Complex - Be sure to visit our
new recreation park Pasatiempo, by the Clubhouse
complete with colorful new children's playground, sand
volleyball courts and a half-court basketball.
Fitness - Stroll or jog along the resort's winding
road, Camino Real. Get a vigorous workout in our
complimentary fitness room with weight stations,
abdominal board, stationary cycles and stairmasters.
Massage therapy by appointment.
Swimming - Refresh in our swimming pool or relax in
the bubbling waters of the hydo-spa. Our poolside
bar, La Chiquita Cabana, offers beverages and snacks.
There's a also a children's play area , a shuffleboard
court and an outdoor pool table.

Har-Tru (clay) courts and 2 Laykold (hard, all weather)
courts are favorites amoung players for lessons,
matches, clinics and more. And when the sun goes
down, the game goes on with night lighting.
